These things rip. I was in some other "freeride" style touring boots before, and I'm so happy I made the switch. They walk incredibly well and are one of the lightest (maybe the lightest) freeride touring boot. I also notice practically no difference in the downhill compared to my alpine boots (I prioritize downhill performance in boots & am not a huge fan of the lightweight touring category boot). These things rock, but damn, are they expensive. Be aware; Scarpas in general are a low-volume boot, so they aren't for everyone (so said my bootfitter).
